Coty Teams With Disney/ABC to Launch Fragrance

Coty and Disney-ABC Television Group’s Touchstone Television have announced a partnership to develop a new fragrance inspired by ABC’s television show Desperate Housewives. Fans can indulge this fall season when the scent will make its debut in select department stores nationwide.

“We’ve seen a tremendous response to Desperate Housewives products made available to date, so extending the franchise into the world of fragrance makes perfect sense,” says Bruce Gersh, senior vice president, business development, ABC Entertainment and Touchstone Television.

The alliance marks the first time that Coty has teamed up with a major studio to develop a fragrance inspired by a  television show.
